Pop Tab Collection

Please help 4th and 5th graders with their service project of collecting pop tabs for 4-H club. The collected pop tabs will be recycled and the money earned will be used to sponsor children to attend a summer camp. You may turn in any pop tabs to Mrs. Eastham or give to any 4th or 5th grader.

Thank you for helping us give back to our community!

Smoke Free Graphic.png
A 100 percent tobacco-free school policy reflects a firm commitment by school administration, teachers and parents to provide students, personnel, and community members a safe, tobacco-free  environment. Tobacco-free schools (including alternate nicotine products and vapor products)  give adults the opportunity to be role models for tobacco-free lifestyles and set the tone for reduced social acceptance of tobacco use. In addition, studies show that students in tobacco-free schools are less likely to start smoking. More resources: http://www.tobaccofreeschoolsky.org/index.html

All students are required to have at least one of the series of 2 Hepatitis A vaccines by July 1, 2018.  If your student hasn’t gotten them, now is the time to begin the series.  The two shots must be separated by 6 months.  Walmart pharmacy notified us that they have Hep A in stock right now and can give it to anyone who is 9 and older on a walk-in basis.  You can also check with your local pharmacy or with your family doctor to get this.  Please contact Nurse Greta at 423-3341 during school hours if you have questions about this.  You won’t want to wait until school starts next year to get this.  Your child may not be eligible to start school next year if they do not meet the requirements.
